About Us

The Mackzack Food Co. associates with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations (UN). The 17 SDGs laid down by the UN becomes our company culture and any corporate decisions made are influenced by these 17 SDGs.

The 17 SDGs include Gender Equality and Reduced Inequalities. This is shown from our organization chart, whereby we have top management from both genders and our employees come from more than 7 ethnic
groups. We also apply an equal opportunity policy to all employees, including workers with special needs. Another SDG that we adhere to is Clean Water and Sanitation. We have our own waste water treatment plant, in which
we regularly report to the relevant environment local authority.

At Mackzack, we also encourage workers to cycle to work to reduce carbon consumption and also as a form of sports. A designated bicycle parking has been allotted. This is part of the initiative to achieve another two SDGs: Good Health and Well-Being and Affordable and Clean Energy. Another initiative in the pipeline is to install solar panels to reduce usage of power in the long run.

Mackzack also supports local schools and orphanages in our CSR programs. This is an effort to create Sustainable Cities and Communities. Also, surrounding our manufacturing plant, fruit trees and vegetables are planted. Workers and local communities are free to take some of the fresh crops anytime. This is a small effort from our side to take care of Life on Land and to support Climate Action.

At Mackzack, we keep sustainability going!
